I grew up in Brooklyn, New York. I always took art classes in school; specifically drawing, watercolors and photography. I also enjoyed growing plants but didn't have luck with the flowers.  I graduated with a commercial art degree, but my jobs lacked creativity.  I kept growing plants, but they were never quite perfect.  After living in California for a long time, I finally had success with an African Violet that bloomed!! So, I took a photograph to preserve the memory. And then, another flower bloomed. And another.  I started taking lots and lots of photos. African violets produce beautiful flowers that are gorgeous shades of purple, pink and white.  I love the drama of the shapes of petals and leaves.

I started to participate in local craft fairs. I won couple of awards at various art shows. It has truly become my passion to photograph beautiful flowers, scenery and pets.

My favorite flowers that I photograph frequently are violets, roses, ranunculus and orchids. My travels and photography have taken me through California, Hawaii, London, Alaska & Canada. And now Arizona. The scenery is breathtaking! Photographing nature is absolutely amazing and a wonderful opportunity to see and enjoy the world! I especially love Butterfly World, *Carlsbad Flower Fields and Butchart Gardens. 

I find great joy, serenity, beauty and my creativity with flowers and nature.

I have several printed birthday, thank you, holiday, congratulations, thinking of you and 12 step cards. Also printed, are some of my favorite photographs on cards, including the Mermaid, Willow in Butchart Gardens  and the Peacock. Of course, lots of floral photography also.
